| It is well-known that with the rapid development of the competitive sports, thecultivation of the reserve force is of great importance in order to maintain goodcompetitive level at home and abroad. Amateur sports schools, as the most importantreserve personnel training bases in our country, take important responsibilities oftraining excellent reserve talents and supplying high-level athletes. Shandong Province,with developed economy, has sports with high level, in which competitive volleyballhas been at the top level in domestic competitions since its establishment. However,because the number of volleyball players and investment are big and the return is small,many amateur sports school cancelled volleyball sports in Shandong Province, whichdirectly led to the lack of competitive volleyball reserve talented person, causing a sharpslowdown in the performance of the situation. After the Jinan National Games, underthe vigorous adovocacy of the National Sports Bureau and province sports bureau, theproject of the gold-medal number changes: the first3gold medals, the second2goldmedals, the third one gold medal. A lot of amateur sports school, which concelled thecompetitive volleyball project, flourish and many of which have had a good volleyballtradition see a big increase in the number and quality of the volleyball players andvolleyball level, which have made the reserve talents of Shandong become strong. Thestrong reserve plays a huge role in advancing the juvenile volleyball, and the men andwomen volleyball teams of Shandong have good achievements in the National JuvenileVolleyball Games which just ended.By using document-data method, questionnaire survey method, mathematicalstatistics method, logic analysis and SWOT analysis, this paper analyzes the presentsituation of the development of the competitive volleyball reserve talented person inamateur sports schools in Shandong Province and finds out the strengths, weaknesses,opportunities and challenges of the development of the competitive volleyball reservetalented person, and puts forward advice and suggestions for providing theories and datato effectively promote the development of the talent reserve and the volleyball level of Shandong and lay solid foundation for playing good games at home and abroad.Through investigation and analysis, this paper draws the following conclusion:First, the cultivation of the reserve talents is in good condition: There are a total of16cities having volleyball in amateur sports schools,1054people participating in thetraining of reserve talented person, among whom,516are male and538female. The agestructure reasonable: most athletes are at the age of13to15years old, which is good forthe development of the reserve talented person. There exists gap between the bodyshape and physical quality and that of the national youth team, but the gap is not verybig.Second, the resource of volleyball coaches is wide, which consists of teachers, retiredathletes and college high level athletes. These coaches have a certain level of trainingand coaching, serious and responsible attitudes, and teach students seriously. There aremore young coaches who are active but do not pay attention to the function of trainingand scientific research, and their theoretical knowledge reserves and update areincomplete. Moreover, they don’t pay attention to training plans; it goes against thelong-term development of competitive volleyball.Third, the average studying performance of the volleyball athletes in their school are inmedium,but there are still some athletes whose studying performance are not idealwhich will go against their future study or employment.Fourth, amateur sports schools have many ways to convey athletes, which highlyconverge on entering superior professional teams and furthering studying in highinstitutions, etc. Some amateur sports school athletics volleyball teams even convey thewhole team, due to the high level, but there are also some amateur sports schoolvolleyball teams with poor delivery.Fifth, the number of shandong amateur sports school athletics volleyball reservepersonnel selection is big, but the scope is not very wide,. Many amateur sports schoolmerely recruit students in the urban and set limits to the selection of the reserve relent. In addition, the material selection index mainly are body shape and physical quality andskill level, some only select talent by experience,so we need to strengthen the scientificnature of the material.Sixth, the safeguard measures of shandong amateur sports school athletics volleyball arerelatively complete; training funds and site equipment can meet the need of basictraining. However, medical supervision is not very ideal, and some measures in certainamateur sports schools perform practicely no function. In addition, the competitivevolleyball games are few in Shandong Province, it goes against the backup of talentsand the improvement of the level of training.Seventh, most of the parents of the reserve talents support their children to be trained inamateur sports schools. But there are still some that worry that training will have a badinfluence on athletes’ study, entering higher schools and employment. So it is necessaryto properly solve the contradiction between learning and training athletes, remove theworries of parents’.Eighth, the cultivation of the reserve talents in Shandong have both advantages anddisadvantages and face both opportunities and challenges. We need to seize theadvantages and opportunities and overcome weaknesses and challenges and providetheoretical basis for the development of the reserve talented person.Ninth, according to the situation of Shandong Province amateur sports school athleticsvolleyball reserve personnel training, we should put forward the following measures tocarry out the development and improvement. It mainly includes: make developmenttarges, expand the reserve talented person sources, improve the competition system,take the path of combining teaching with sports, improve the level of coaches andexpand the funding sources and increase the fund investment etc. |
