Competitive volleyball is one of the most advantagecompetitive sports in Sichuan province, Sichuan women’s volleyball team have everwon4times champions in the National Game, and men’s volleyball team have won“five successive championships” at the beginning of National Professional LeagueMatches, making Sichuan competitive volleyball become one of the best teams inChina.Recently, Sichuan competitive volleyball is at a low ebb for some reasons, bothmen’s and women’s results of matches are not good. the “five successivechampionship” of men’s volleyball team was ended in2000,and even matched forthe qualification in2001. In the seasons of2012-2013、2013-2014, just ranked the8thplace; Sichuan women’s volleyball team just ranked the11thin1995NationalProfessional League Matches,9thin2012-2013,10thin2013-2014. At LiaoningNational Games, there are4competitive volleyball teams of Sichuan but just one ofthem came into the finals round, the lost3teams were eliminated at group game.There are a lot of reasons for Sichuan volleyball teams fall into awkward situation,but the most important reason is account and quality of teenager athletes.Teenager is a period between childhood and adult,and it is also the processwhich people gradually become mature. People at this period own strong study andabsorb ability, treated as very important period of becoming a useful person.Cultivate and convey reserve talents relative to competitive sports developmentstrategy, pay more attention to teenage athletes’ training, will make competitivesport sustainable development better. Recently, there are a lot of research ofcompetitive volleyball reserve talents training but few about teenage. Therefore,there is very important theory and practices significance to research current situationin Sichuan teenage volleyball athletes and factor which influent sustainabledevelopment in volleyball.The methods of documents、expert interview、field、questionnaire、mathematical statistics、logical analysis will be used in the paper, discuss andresearch reserve talents in Sichuan competitive volleyball, use the athletes、coaches、athlete parents of those who have ever joined2012and2013province matches as respondents, interview relative leaders and experts of Sichuan competitivevolleyball, collect the students data of physical quality and technique who joined2012and2013Sichuan province middle school students volleyball matches,analyze Sichuan teenage physical quality, technique and tactics, deeply survey andresearch the main question which influence teenage athletes in Sichuan competitivevolleyball.Results:1. the store of reserve talents in Sichuan competitive volleyball are seriouslyinsufficient, uneven distribution, distance of physical quality, technique andtactics exist among different areas.2. there is a big distance between Sichuan competitive volleyball reserve talents’physical quality and China youth volleyball training program, especially inbounce and speed, tactics skills need to further improve.3. recently, the task of conveying reserve talents to colleges or at least provinceprofessional teams do not finish, reserve force lack in Sichuan competitivevolleyball.4. recently, the majority of coaches who work at Sichuan teenage competitivevolleyball team are young and middle-aged, some of them own full experiencebut part of them can’t hold theory basic knowledge, the knowledge system is notcomplete5. the majority of athletes are interested in volleyball training but there is a bigcontradiction between cultural course and training.6. Sichuan competitive volleyball is managed step-by-step by Sichuan provincesports bureau, use “a coordinated process” manage system. But recently teenagematches form is singleness, there are just a little of chance for team joiningnormal matches.7. the majority of parents support volleyball training, but they are worried aboutchildren’s cultural course, they hope their children can go to university for thefurther study but not professional volleyball team.8.“combination of sport and education” instead of “Level3training” pattern, butthe existing training pattern is not complete.
