Science is a course that very stressed on personal experience of students to explore. As a science teacher, in addition to ask students to do the experiments by themselves in classroom teaching, and help them experience the process and methods of scientific activities, this is also reflect the features of science course on the assignments. According to statistics, Zhejiang version of elementary school science lesson has a considerable number of long-time outside assignments, which is an important part of elementary school science course. However, the outside assignments of elementary school science only arrange without implement at some time, thus become a mere formality.The author puts the education and teaching of science in local Wenling Taiping elementary school as an opportunity, to study the teaching strategies of elementary school science long-time assignments according to the actual circumstance of this school, implement the long-time assignments, incorporate them into classroom teaching, so as to realize the value of the long-time assignments, and promote the development of students’ scientific literacy. Also the author expects this study will provide measures and ideas for their peer science teacher.The first part mainly discusses the raise of the problem, the meaning of the topic, literature review, research methods and steps, the definition of the core concept. The second part summarizes the existing issues in long-time assignments during the elementary school science learning. The third part analyzes in detail about the causes of issues existing in long-time assignments. The fourth part is the focus of this article, to build a collaborative learning mode of primary school science long-time assignments, which is the innovation of this study. The author considers long-time assignments teaching should include the project, arrangement, implement, evaluation and results show based on years of teaching experience and characteristic of elementary science long-time assignments, and discussed in details on the teaching examples. The fifth part summarizes the research content and draws some conclusions, rethinking and finds the shortage in practice, and forecasts the future work in the end.
