Research To The Feasibility Of Promotion Of Baseball And Softball In The Middle Schools Of Xiamen City Under The Environment Of "Haixi"

The paper adopts "The Literature Material Law","Questionnaire Method","Case Analysis Method","Expert Interview Method","Mathematical Statistics Method", and "Logic Analysis" to do some surveys and research about the current situation, factors and feasibility of promotion of baseball and softball in middle schools of Xiamen City under the environment of "Haixi", and demonstrates the feasibility of the promotion of the two sports, which provides some theoretical reference for the promotion of the two sports in middle schools in Xiamen City. And the research indicates:(1) It’s appropriate to develop the two sports in the middle schools in Xiamen city under the environment of Haixi, but they’re still in a low popularity.(2) Dadeng Middle School has become the teenager reserve talent base for Chinese Baseball Association, which, meanwhile, offers experience and a platform for other middle schools in Xiamen City.(3) The three main factors that limit the development of the two sports, which include the ignorance of the rules for students, the lack of professional teachers, and the high expenses of launching baseball and softball games (4) It’s feasible to promote the two sports in the middle schools in Xiamen city under the environment of Haixi, but they’re still in a low popularity. Both teachers and students are interested in the two sports. The four feasibilities mainly depend on four aspects as follow:1.The leaders from middle schools support the promotion to baseball and softball games;2.Both students and PE teachers are interested in the two sports;3.Schools can provide the courts and facilities;4.Xiamen owns both inner and outer environment to promote these two sports;5.The promotion of the two sports has a significant meaning to facilitate the communication between teenagers from both sides of Taiwan StraitOn account of this, I propose some advice:First, Xiamen City should take advantage of the special location close to Taiwan under the environment of Haixi, and hold some baseball and softball games regularly; Second, main P.E administrative organs should increase input to launch baseball games and softball games, establish a special fund and enhance propaganda for the promotion of them; Third, middle schools in Xiamen City should offer baseball and softball and provide teachers with professional trainings; what’s more, not only should education organs encourage students who are gifted in baseball and softball to enter the talent reserve base for a professional study and training, but hold regular baseball and softball games, which aims to promote the culture communication for the teenagers between both sides of Taiwan Strait.
