In order to turn the new curriculum concepts into specific classroom teaching practice, narrow the gap between the class grades, enhance students’ self-efficacy, make the student to keep strong interest in learning chemistry subject, the author focuses on a branch under the cooperative learning method-----Jigsaw cooperation learning, it is a both practical and creative teaching theory and strategy system. The main problem of this study include the origin and theoretical basis of Jigsaw method, implementation of Jigsaw cooperative learning process and strategies, practical case studies, effect evaluation, research conclusion and the insufficiency of jigsaw method and Suggestions, etc. This study has used literature research to characterize and analyze the theory system of jigsaw cooperative learning,such as concept and process, etc. Then prepare a series of questionnaire used to measure the effectiveness of Jigsaw cooperative learning in chemistry teaching and students’ cooperation consciousness and skills. The author also use SPSS17.0and Excel2007software to analysis and contrast the chemical performance of experimental class and control class. Studies show that Jigsaw cooperative learning helps to improve the class of middle and lower reaches of the student achievement, narrow the polarization and the achievement gap, and promote the development of students’ non-intelligence factors.
