ACSM’s research suggests that cardio-pulmonary function is a core element of physical health assessment. However, the power projection maximal oxygen consumption can be calculated through the test heart rate the amount of power in the existing secondary vehicle programs, but these programs are more suitable for athletes or younger people. So there are some limitations to predict maximal oxygen uptake in the elderly for there is limited submaximal power program for the elderly in the domestic and these programs are not suitable for promotion to use in the elderly. Therefore, it is one of the urgent problems to be solved to establish a scientific and simple method for evaluation of cardiopulmonary function in the elderly. Objective:This study will be based on the more simple and easy safety quantitative evaluation of cardiorespiratory endurance principles after fully understanding the40-69year-old elderly maximum cardiorespiratory endurance levels and explore the feasible method of the human heart and lung endurance by using the secondary quantitative evaluation of load power cars in elderly. Meanwhile, this study preliminarily evaluates the reference level of the cardiorespiratory endurance levels to lay a foundation of finding the safer and easier way of the maximal oxygen consumption measurement in the future.Subjects and Methods:Part Ⅰ:Selected a total of36240-69year-old residents from16Streets in Xicheng District in accordance with the principle of voluntary participation as the research object. Checked personal history of disease through PAR-Q questionnaire and signed the informed consent form. Taking graded-load cycle ergometer test to evaluate their maximal oxygen consumption.Part Ⅱ:After screening, took46selected subjects randomly as samples to take the twice-quantitative-load cycle ergometer test, recorded the testing process oxygen consumption and the heart rate, and identified this group as the model group.7subjects as the retrospective test group take the twice-quantitative-load cycle ergometer test too.The conclusion of this research is:(1) In the elderly population, different gender and different age group in the graded-load cycle ergometer test has significant difference.(2) The twice-quantitative-load cycle test speculate V02max formula is:Male:V02max (1/min)=1.921-0.040×age+0.018×height (cm)+0.011×weight (kg)-0.048×end of the first grade heart rate+0.030×end of the second grade heart rate (R=0.921, R2=0.848, SEE=0.222)Female:V02max (1/min)=3.422-0.028×age+0.004×height (cm)+0.004×weight (kg)-0.006×end of the first grade heart rate+0.013×end of the second grade heart rate (R=0.637, R2=0.406, SEE=0.259)(3) Established evaluation classification reference standard of the cardiopulmonary function of the adults and the aged.
