The popularity of the Internet has brought a rare opportunity on college students’ideological and political education work, at the same time also caused an unprecedented development crisis. How to make use of the Internet is one of development direction and goal of the ideological and political education. College students’ online virtual group occupies the important position in college students’ ideological and political education. It is the present universities priority to deal with the virtual community college students’ network ideological and political education work.On the basis of the author’s attention to college students’ Internet cafe life in recent years, this paper focuse on the development of college students’ network group network using phase and regular form.Through the field observation, interview, questionnaire survey, a variety of experiments and measurements, such as scale used in the virtual community college students’ network in the network periodically on the basis of characteristics and development and three sets of measuring samples, measured by the "Tennessee self-concept scale" and SPSS statistical software for the correlation analysis of the test factors, this paper try to explore college students’ online virtual group in "self-concept" cognitive, interpretation of the network virtual community ideological and political education of college students the necessity and feasibility.Results show that college students’ online virtual group of network behavior presents the six stages: new Internet cafe culture stage, excessive love network, network game addiction, Internet cafes stage life habit, network and Internet cafes disgust and instrumental cognitive network period. Based on the above network and Internet cafe usage development, college students’ online virtual group compared with students groups based on real life, the concept of "self" cognitive differences do exist, including physical self, moral self, psychological self, family self, social self and self satisfaction have different degree of difference.In view of the behaviors of college students’ online virtual group development process and comparing the individual differences of sample analysis,this paper suggests strengthen the group the pertinence and effectiveness of ideological and political education work from the way of Internet usage, Internet cafe management, core values education practice and personal diathesis developing.
