The "90s" college students will become the reliable and primary part of achieving"Chinese Dream". How to carry out ideological and political education activities baseon the characteristics of “90s” college student and help students to built lofty ideal faith,so that they can realize their responsible and devote themselves to achieve “ChineseDream”, which are new challenges and tasks for ideological and political education.This paper is divided into following five parts:Part one, it consist of core concepts, topic background, and the significance of thispaper. In addition, it describes the importance of strengthening the ideological andpolitical education of "90s" college students’. I hope this paper can provide somereferences for ideological and political education and research in schools, according tothe research of the status and methods of "90s" college’s ideological and politicaleducation at domestic and abroad.The second part is the analysis of growth environment of "90s" college students. Baseon the survey, author summaries the following characteristics of "90s" college students:personality is distinct but self-knowledge is deviation, deeply love the motherland butneed to strengthen political faith firmness, value orientation positive but "pragmatism"tend to be slightly obviously, purse the interpersonal equality but tend to virtualization,dare to innovate but poor ability to suffer frustrations.The third chapter, the achievement of ideological and political education, which isabout discipline and education, has been discussed in this part. There are some problemsof “90s” that they are lack of innovation at traditional education management mode, thestudents’ learning enthusiasm is not high, the effectiveness of ideological and politicaleducation is poor for them, and the society, family, school haven’t formed the educationjoint effort.Chapter four, based on the problem of "90s" colleges ideological and politicaleducation and their ideological characteristics, some ways have been discussed tostrengthen the "90s" colleges’ ideological and political education, such as exploring thenew way of ideological and political education management, improving the way ofteaching, riching education content and education diversity, promoting the wholesociety work together for "90s" colleges ideological and political education.At last part of this paper, the main points and shortcomings are discussed.
