Research learning is a hot issue in the education of our country and is alsothe need of China’s new round of the basic education curriculum reform.The reasonthat I choice the analogy from triangle to tetrahedron as an example to conductpractice exploration is that the method of analogical thinking is an important way tofind and analysis the problem.it is also an important way to solve it.In the middleschool stage, the triangle is the basic graphics on the Euclidean plane. theEuclidean plane geometry actually is a triangular geometry in some sense.Its contentsis very rich. the tetrahedron is basic graphics in3-dimensional Euclidean spacegeometry. the contents of tetrahedral geometry are also very rich. Analogyingfrom triangle to tetrahedron belongs to the analogy from plane geometry and solidgeometry. It also belongs to the analogy from the low dimensional space to highdimension space. It comes ture that the effective conversion of solidgeometry knowledge and plane geometry knowledge. It can make us achieve theinspiration thinking.Therefore, the research has important significance to the middleschool teaching research.First of all, Through consulting the relevant theoretical knowledge of researchlearning, we has a deeper understanding and mastery. The second,we developresearch-based learning activities as the example of analogying from triangleto tetrahedron by group cooperative learning and exploring learning way. In particular,the first part,we analogy from the triangle known important concepts, theorems andproperties to the tetrahedron known important concepts, theorems and properties tocarry out research learning activities.Specific implementation include choosing aresearch topic, setting a plan and conducting the specific implementation, exchangingand discussing the topics and intensifying; In the second part, the research study iscarried out on the triangle to the tetrahedral analogy and thus to get the innovativeresults.First,through Instructor providing project background, helping students selecttopic, determining the goal and the difficult point and carrying out specific implementation, we get a new result inquiry about analogying from the angledividing line of triangle to the angular split surface of tetrahedron.Secondly,Studentsimitate the sphere research steps completing the next analogy from triangle escribedcircle radius to tetrahedron escribed the sphere.Through the practice exploration of high school mathematics inquiry learning,not only let the student to obtain the tetrahedron some new achievements, but also theresearch-type learning cultivate the students’ interest in study, cooperative learningability, founding question ability, settling the problem ability, and the innovationability and scientific research ability and research paper writing ability, and so on....
