A Feasibility Study On The Integration Of Traditional Ritual Culture And Ideological And Political Education

Chinese culture is like a pool of spring water, endless and timeless. The reason whyChinese nation has been able to continue to move forward and achieve remarkable results isdue to Chinese culture as a source and motivation.In order to implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the Eighteenth CentralCommittee on improving the education of Chinese traditional culture, carry out thefundamental tasks of strengthening the morality education and further reinforce the educationof Chinese traditional culture under the new situation, Division of Social Science of ChineseEducation Ministry issued the third document “Chinese traditional culture and education toimprove instruction summary” in2014, which pointed out that the education of Chinesetraditional culture for undergraduate would be helpful to enhance undergraduate’s sense ofresponsibility and mission, improve undergraduate’s personality cultivation, inductundergraduate to care about national destiny, consciously integrate personal ideals withnational dreams and personal values with national development. Based on above mentioned,undergraduates will have an uncompromising ideals and faith so as to make the Chinesedream of great rejuvenation of Chinese nation come true.By means of the innovating combination with traditional educational methods andmodels, the organic integration between ideological and political education and the educationof Chinese traditional ritual culture will not only be helpful to improve the effectiveness ofideological and political education and undergraduate’s personality cultivation, but also behelpful to inherit and carry forward the fine Chinese traditional culture.In this paper, the basic principles of ideological and political education and methodologyof Marxist will be used. Based on these theories, this paper will put forward the actualquestions and systematically carry out the research on the role of Chinese traditional ritual culture in the education of ideological and political education. This paper will be divided intofour aspects:First, this paper introduces briefly the scientific connotation and characteristics ofChinese traditional ritual culture.Second, this paper expounds the great significance of the integration between ideologicaland political education and traditional ritual culture.Third, this paper analyzes the current status of ideological and political education basedon the traditional ritual culture.Fourth, this paper puts forward the principles and strategies about the integrationbetween ideological and political education and traditional ritual culture.
