At the National College Ideological and Political Work Conference on December 9,2016,General Secretary Xi emphasized: "We must pay more attention to educating people with culture and culture,and carry out the creation of civilized campuses extensively.Campus cultural activities and a wide range of social practices." This put forward further requirements for the innovative development of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.As an effective carrier of ideological and political education for college students,ritual culture in colleges and universities is outstanding in improving the effect of ideological and political education.Therefore,the ideological and political education function of ritual culture in colleges should be brought into full play in order to achieve the goal of cultivating morality,cultivating moral,intellectual,and physical beauty.Socialist builders and successors provide important lessons.The theoretical origins of rituals can be found in ancient China,the Western world,and Marxist cultural theories.Based on the theory of three aspects,it is proposed that college ritual culture activities rely on campus culture at specific times and places,through a series of symbolic symbols,and program performances to guide students to enhance political awareness,establish correct values,and improve social moral standards.Cultural activities carried out in the form of ritualized activities.It is symbolic,procedural,periodic,educational,and diverse.Ritual types can be roughly divided into four types: political rituals,commemorative rituals,ceremonial ceremony and ritual rituals.The ritual culture of colleges has an educational function in itself,and has certain consistency with ideological and political education in terms of educational objects,educational goals,and educational content.It has made important contributions to the function of ideological and political education in colleges,mainly manifested in the following: emotional influence function,value-leading function,political-oriented function,and behavior norm function.The function of ideological and political education in ritual cultural activities in colleges cannot be achieved easily.It is necessary to follow the principles of ideological and political work,adhere to the principle of teaching and educating people,and respect the principle of student subjects.On the basis of adhering to the "Three Principles",the four aspects of mastering ritual cultural activities in colleges,improving students' participation in ritual activities in ritual activities,inheriting and developing the outstanding traditional ritual culture in China,and constructing a new era of ritual culture in colleges will be explored and played.Effective path to educational function.
