University teacher culture is the soil for the development of University Teachers. Theexcellent university teachers’ culture plays a dynamic role in the promotion of faculty teachersteaching and scientific research. Faculty culture not only for the development of teachersthemselves, but also has great influence on the development of students themselves, theconstruction of subject and the improvement of school. Therefore, researching the constructionof the faculty culture plays an significant role on the theoretical value and practical significance.This research includes four parts. In the first part of this study, the related concept definitionsare made about the connotation and extension of the faculty culture and the educationinformatization. And I also described the symbolic interaction theory and the teaching theory ofConstructivism on the theoretical support of this study. By defining the related concepts andanalyzing the related theoretical support, to comb the contents of the thesis writing, anddetermine the research difficult points, which has done the necessary basis for the future study.The second part of this study has discussed the ideal state of our faculty teachers andanalyzed the character, spirit and academic attitude that our college teachers should have, andalso made the future analysis about the relationship that should be created between teachers andstudents, which plays a directional function on the analysis of the current problems and itsreasons about the construction of faculty culture in our country.On the third part of this article, I have analyzed the present problems and the causes on theconstruction of our faculty culture, which is the most difficult part of this study. The mainproblems are as follows, teacher community accepts external regulations value orientation, thesacred authoritative status of university teachers, closed teaching environment and psychologicalspace and confused identity of the role of university teachers. The causes include, lacking ofteachers professional spirit, the controlling of bondage teaching culture, the negative impactbrought by market economy and mechanical specification school system. Analyzing the existingquestions and causes can provide the reference for the present strategy of faculty cultureconstruction.The fourth part is the key point of this study. The aim of this part is to put forward thestrategy of the faculty culture construction under the background of educational informatization.On the basis of the prior research about the existing problem and causes in the process of theconstruction of faculty culture, and following the principle of subjectivity, the principle ofcultural consciousness and the principle of advancing with the times, to propose some countermeasures to solve the questions in order to make the construction of faculty cultureperfect.
