Common inorganic is an important theme and is the basis of later learning chemistry in high school. It has an important impact on teacher’s teaching and student’s studying. This research on the teaching and learning around common inorganic to solve the following problem:(1) How to help students learn common inorganic effctively;(2) How to explore and summarize some effective teaching strategies about common inorganic;(3) How to improve the teachers’ level of design.At the stage of practice, the author selects senior one as research subjects and takes content about "the reaction aluminum and sodium hydroxide solution ","lively yellow-green gas-chlorine gas" and "sulphur dioxide and sulfur trioxide ". First of all, the author goes on teaching finds problems, diagnoses problems and seeks effective teaching strategies. Then, the author teaches in the other class and reflects by himself. Lastly, the author compares two teaching effects by obseaving students’ after-class tests in order to seek the efficient teaching strateagies.The results show that the students improve learning performance. Promote the students to the several properties of common inorganic and improve the students’ interest in learning Meanwhile the author has developed the knowledge of chemistryteaching in physical properties and chemical properties aboutcommon inorganic. The level of teaching design has developed,emboding in two aspects: the one aspect is to consider the basicobjective of teaching, the other focuses on students’ goal ofdevelopment. Students’ subjectivity is fully taken into accoount.Furthermore, efficient teaching strategies can be properly chosen.The conclusions of this research are:(1) Through theexperiment activity, the author optimizes the teaching of commoninorganic matter;(2) Contacting with the actual life, the author canoptimize the common inorganic teaching;(3) Linking theory withpractice can optimize the teaching of common inorganic substance;(4) Building a knowledge framework can improve the timeliness ofteaching.
