Inorganic chemistry knowledge is an important part of the contents of high school chemistry textbooks,which plays an important role in implementing the goals of educational reform and developing the core literacy of students.What are the characteristics of the transformation of the social application of inorganic chemistry knowledge in textbooks is worth the attention of educational researchers.In this study,high school chemistry textbooks(codenamed "T1 Edition" "T2 Edition" "T3 Edition" and "T4 Edition")published by People's Education Press in four periods were selected as the research objects,in order to explore the changing characteristics of the social application of inorganic chemistry knowledge with the development of The Times and enrich the research of domestic high school chemistry textbooks.It also provides reference opinions supported by data for the compilation or revision of future textbooks.First of all,this study through consulting a large number of related literature and combining with the contents of the four editions inorganic chemistry knowledge preliminary analysis,construct the high inorganic chemistry analysis framework of social application characteristics,mainly including: the type of application of inorganic chemistry knowledge society,presentation,education function and the associated degree analysis of four dimensions.Secondly,the social application contents of inorganic chemistry knowledge in senior high schools in different periods were coded one by one with the framework of analysis.Through data collection and statistical analysis,the transformation characteristics of the social application characteristics of inorganic chemistry knowledge in senior high schools were revealed,and the evolution rules of the social application of inorganic chemistry knowledge in senior high schools were explored.The results show that the social application characteristics of inorganic chemistry knowledge in each edition of textbooks show the following six characteristics:(1)The amount of social application content of inorganic chemistry knowledge shows an overall increasing trend,and the educational thought of STSE is increasingly prominent in textbooks.(2)The social application content of different knowledge topics changes with the increase and decrease of inorganic chemistry knowledge in textbooks.(3)The social application types of inorganic chemistry knowledge are not evenly distributed,and gradually attach importance to the connection between chemistry and daily life and high and new technology.(4)The presentation ways of social application contents of inorganic chemistry knowledge tend to be diversified,only the number of the presentation ways of text shows a declining trend,and the presentation way of mixed description receives more attention.(5)The degree of correlation between inorganic chemistry knowledge and social application is different,and the number of high correlation decreases gradually.(6)The educational function of the social application content of inorganic chemistry knowledge in senior high schools is different in different periods,mainly focusing on "broadening vision",and gradually attaching importance to "stimulating emotion" function.
