Research On Quotation Misbehavior And Improvement Suggestions Of Sports Core Journals In 2013

Sports core journals play an important role in promoting the health development of China sports science. Therefore, it is urgent and necessary to research on the normalization of sports academic thesis. Nowadays, the inaccurate quotations have a negative effect on the quotation function. From the perspective of inaccurate quotation, the paper analyses the quotation misbehaviors in China sports core journals to improve the standardization construction.The paper makes academic articles from 10 core sport scholarly journals G8 which is evaluated by CSSCI as research subject, sampling 64 articles which including 1123 quotations. According to the nature of subject, there are 8 branches of learning: physical education、theories of sport training、humane and sociological science of sports、human movement science、national traditional sports、sports economics、sports law and sports communication. This paper will make classification statistic and comparative analysis to the 1123 quotations.The statistical result is: there are 182 quotations committed 11 different misbehaviors which are lacking of standardization, these misbehaviors are divided into two categories: the content misbehavior and form misbehavior. The content misbehavior consists of false quotation and data modification; there exist 59 and 7 misbehavior quotations respectively. The form misbehavior is made up of common form misbehavior and occasional form misbehavior. The common form misbehavior includes 5 misbehavior: 13 quotations lacking page number of reference books、14 quotations can not display the reference website, 43 quotations confound the difference between direct quotes and indirect quotes, 7 quotations quote from a secondary source, 35 quotations have no quotation marks in the main body of thesis. The occasional form misbehavior includes 4 misbehaviors which are not representative. Among the 8 branches of learning, the misbehavior rate of sports communication tops with 64%, and sports law bottoms with 17%. <China Sport Science>tops first in standard rate of quotations among 10 sports core journals.The main causes of leading to sports core journals quotation misbehavior are as follows: 1, uneven of the sports scientific researchers and scientific attitudes varied; 2, not familiar with the quotation rules; 3, lack of strict supervision from the sport periodical press; 4, imperfection of academic mechanism. Therefore, to reduce the quotation misbehavior, there need comprehensive control:1, educate the sports writers according to their research field and level, open classes to teach the national standard of quotation; 2, submit the quotation sources when contributing;3, sports journals take efforts to supervise every article and introduce more evaluation methods;4, use foreign strategies as the reference, perfect academic evaluation and supervision mechanism, strengthen the legalization and standardization construction of quotation;5, step up efforts to punish and educate the everyone concerned about quotation misbehavior. To purify the academic atmosphere and maximize the academic function of quotation, it is necessary to combine the above various measures.
