On September 9,2013, President Xi Jinping wrote in the condolence letter to the teachers emphasized that "Firmly establish the concept of learn to be an Excellent Teacher;Act as an Exemplary Person, impart knowledge and educate people and serve as a adviser and guide who protect their students grow up healthy and sound; Firmly establish the concept of lifelong learning,reinforcement learning, broaden their horizons,update their knowledge, improve professional ability and the quality of education and teaching, and strive to become the teacher loved by students; Firmly establish the sense of reform and innovation, practice in the educational innovation, contribute to the furtherance of the modern education with China characteristics and world level."Visible, along with the implementation of the new curriculum reform, the quality and ability of teachers have a new challenge,the teacher professional development become the hot research problem in the current. Practice has proved, reflective teaching is an important way to promote the professional development of teachers, reflective teaching as a activity to help teachers to capture and activate teaching experience also have a great significance. Therefore, how to improve the level of teaching reflection and effectively promote the professional growth of teachers is an important topic in the current teacher education research.This paper has investigated the reflection diaries of 33 teachers working in a primary school of the city of Jinhua and research the main content of their reflection diaries.On the basis of the theory of Van Manen’s three reflective thinking level and the content analysis methods,the research will measure what level inquiry teaching teacher’s reflect thinking is on,in order to find out the factors which exert an influence on teachers and suggest effective proposals.On the methods and results of this research:This paper mainly adopts the content analysis method and quantitative analysis method.Through the collection of 720 pieces of reflection diaries were written in 2013 March to 2014 January by 30 teachers who working in the primary school, after carefully reading the content of reflection and its encoding, the data were analyzed with EXCEL2010 and SPSS 18.0, finally come to the conclusion of the research.According to the results of the survey, the school teacher reflection with level of technical rationality accounted for 48.6%, accord with the practical action level accounted for 36.9%, consistent with critical reflection level accounted for 14.5%. Variance analysis and correlation analysis of the factors of the level of teacher reflection that, seniority, job characteristics and attitude of teachers has a great influence on the level of reflection.By this investigation found,the situation of teachers’ reflection is not ideal,some teachers still exist many problems, this research worthy of the scholars study on teaching reflection to make further research and discussion.
