| The United States is the first country that set standards in the early education industry.lt is also the model of the specialization in the field of early education industry all over the world.Since the 21 century, the United States began to develop and promote the early learning standards in order to improve the quality and specialization of early education.The 51 states had completed early learning standards in 2009,and 33 states had completed the revision at least once by 2O14.By August 2014, the writer had collected the latest 51 states of early learning standards,including 24 standards revised between 2011 to 2014,and 27 standards revised between 1998 and 2010. There are 44 states’ early learning standards that contain art area, accounted for 86% of the total. So most states attach great importance to art area in the early learning standards. The USA try to improve the specialization of the early education by enhancing the quality of early learning standards’ art area,and guide the children’s development and evaluate the quality of children.Those states ’early learning standards’ art area exist certain differences in the text structure. Those states’standards generalize four aspects.The first level is learning areas.The second level is standard terms.The third level is behavior performance indicators.The fourth level is education suggestions and strategies.In this paper, I will analysis the first three levels of the massive content.The paper’s research steps divide into these steps:sample collecting,determining the literature text and analysis unit,determining the dimension,forming analysis category, coding, getting the conclusion and analysis.In the process of content analysis, I found that there are two kinds of classification in early learning standards of the UnitedStates:the dimension of art education content;the dimension of artistic ability. From the dimension of art education content standard, the categories are: participation and exploration in music and movement,response,understanding and appreciating,creative expression and emotional expression.The 28 art education content standards will analysis the content from these four categories.From the dimension of artistic ability of art standard, the categories are various kinds of arts, music and movements, dramatical play and visual arts.The 16 capability dimensions of art standards analysis the contents from the four categories.Through the content analysis of the latest early learning standards’ art area in the United States, the writer reveals the characteristics and new trends of the United States’ standards.The process provides many inspirations to our country’s 3-6 children development guidance.From all standards,we have these inspirations:It take the young children’s development as a whole and continuous process.Improve the cohesion and structured of the 3-6 children development guidance.The community and policymakers support children’s art development.From the art area’s perspective,there are 3 inspirations.Art area standard has the trend of developing towards the artistic ability dimension.The art education is integrating and full of life..Attaches great importance to the multicultural art education.From the behavior indicators,there are 3 inspirations.We should increase the indicators of dancing and creative movements.We should attaches great importance to the musical instruments and participating of singing activity..We should also attaches great importance to the indicators of dramatical play. |
