In recent years, with the continuous improvement of people’s living level, people pursuit of material base has far cannot satisfy the needs of their hearts, to the spiritual demand is also gradually sublimation. As a result, people in the leisure time more is the pursuit of a healthy lifestyle, and people in the pursuit of high quality life style at the same time demand for sports events is also growing. In September 2014 a state council meeting chaired by prime minister Ke-Qiang Li. proposed to speed up the development of sports industry, promote sports consumption. And in October 2014 by the state council document no.46 "about speed up the development of sports industry, promote the sports consumption of the several opinions, to promote the development of the sports industry to the national level.Thus, country to the undertakings of physical culture and sports reform is very large.Now, sports competition in today’s society has become a very common social activity, watching sporting events has become an important part of the people life style, brand sports events is the focus of the public. In many sports events according to the local natural human resources characteristic sports contests activities, and actively introduce international sports event, to create influential and distinctive brand sports events has aroused high attention of people from all walks of life. For brand sports started at the same time, also is our country in the history of politics, economy, culture, not only increased the external image, enhance the soft power, our country has led to the development of sports industry in China. Therefore, to shape brand sports research has certain theoretical significance and practical significance.Zheng-kai international marathon since founded in 2007, after event planning, operation and management, and other events at the already very mature, and made remarkable achievements. In this paper, by using related subjects such as management, sociology, sports science knowledge, by the methods of literature, questionnaire investigation, interview method and mathematical statistics research methods, such as the Zheng-kai international marathon the scene audience were investigated. Combining the theoretical knowledge, the brand sports paper analyzes the basic theory and discussed. And the following conclusions:First:brand characteristics mainly include:International, Appreciation, Recognition, Uniqueness, Sustainability, and Innovative.The second:brand sports event’s influence on the economic development of Henan province mainly displays in:brand sports events is an important supplement of the third industry in Henan province, pull the Henan province sports consumption demand, and lead to the development of relevant industries in Henan province.Third:brand sports culture construction in Henan province:the influence of brand sporting events held not only can the popularity and influence of Henan province, still can enhance people’s understanding and promote people’s sports participation, enrich people’s cultural life and contribute to the spread of culture in Henan province.Fourth:to shape the brand sports in Henan province from the scale and level, the elements of project selection, influence, regional culture, brand identity, brand positioning, the diversification of core competence, spread and brand sporting events of the nine aspects to shape.
