Focusing on comparison of domestic and foreign materials in mathematics education is a hot issue in recent years. Canada is one of the developed Western countries, The advanced teaching philosophy is worth of learning, especially the experience of curriculum.In this study, selecting the high school mathematics textbooks published by PEP and Canada. selecting the "exponential function and logarithmic function" section,using the literature and comparative law, from "the selection of knowledge", "presentation", "the setting of the exercises", "information technology integration" and other aspects to study.Specific results of the analysis are as follows: ① On the content and the structure of knowledge, the knowledge of PEP A materials is deeper, the content knowledge points at the contact relation is closed. While the content knowledge points of the NE edition textbook is more winder but lower degree at the contact relation than the PEP A materials, its knowledge involves a little more than the PEP A materials. ② In the presentation, the NE version in Canada has more abundant materials on the column settings and reading and it has stronger emphasis on training applications and problem-solving skills, While the knowledge of the structure of pep A materials is more rigorous.③ On the setting unit imported, NE version in Canada is more to life while Chinese science of teaching the material tends.④ The summary on setting, It pays more attention to grasp the overall pep A materials on the knowledge content,The NE version in Canada is attended to details more. ⑤ In the setting of the exercises, The NE version in Canada exercises quantity and fun exercises material are both higher, overall difficulty of the problem in the background and reasoning aspects are both higher, with a multilevel type exercises; Comprehensive pep A materials exercises have the right amount number, overall difficulty of the problem in the cognitive and operational aspects are both higher, in addition, the two materials are very focused on operational exercises. ⑥ In the IT integration, Canada focuses on the use of information technology and teaching materials more, the two countries have focused on mathematics teaching and cultural infiltration.On the basis of a comparative analysis. for the preparation of high school mathematics textbooks and teaching some suggestions: highlighting the importance of the image; giving full play to the role of introduction and summary of the chapter;strengthen the links between teaching and real life; focusing on cases of scientific rationality exercises configuration; to strengthen efforts to integrate the teaching materials and information technology; strengthen teaching and mathematics culture and humanistic spirit of penetration; attention of the cultivation of different levels of stages inspired students; the emphasis on the role of textbooks and reading materials to explore other sections.emphasis on stimulated teaching.
