Since the new curriculum reform,in order to meet the education requirements in various regions,our country have encouraged relevant departments to write appropriate materials according to the guidelines of the new curriculum standards.Therefore,under the principle of "one label and multiple books",many textbooks have appeared in China.There are nine sets of teaching materials for junior middle schools in China,and each edition has its own merits,but there are also shortcomings.All of them embody the basic concept of new curriculum in different forms.In the development of teaching materials,we should carry forward the advantages and eliminate the disadvantages.Therefore,it is necessary to compare the textbooks of each edition,find the common points and advantages and disadvantages of each other,and provide some basis for the compilation of textbooks.This text select the quadratic function part of the mathematics textbook of junior middle school of Beijing normal university and PEP edition which are widely used to make a comparison.Because the quadratic function is a very abstract concept,it is a key and difficult point in junior middle school teaching.This text makes a comparison of the two versions of textbooks using the methods of literature analysis,content analysis,comparative analysis,from the class six aspects such as the concept,the layout structure,the related content,the problem sets,the question type,the difficulty of courses and so on.I hope that it can provide some basis for the revision of China’s follow-up textbooks and teachers’ teaching.After the study,it was found that in the column setting,there were 31 in Beijing normal university edition which reflected the better integration of mathematical culture and a strong sense of problem.There are 33 in PEP edition,which was rich in variety and variety.On the set of example problem sets,there are 87 problems in Beijing normal university edition of which 64 percent are problems without background and 66 percent are examples.There are 51 questions in PEP edition,with 78 percent of problems without background and 80 percent of the examples,which is higher than the textbook of Beijing normal university edition,and the two editions have the lowest proportion of scientific situation.In terms of the difficulty of the course,the class difficulty factor of Beijing normal university edition is slightly higher than that of PEP edition.In addition,the two versions of textbooks also show the following features: 1.Common features of the two editions of textbooks: the selection of material type is similar;Attach importance to students’ autonomous learning;To meet the development of students with different abilities;The layout is rich and colorful;It is conducive to the cultivation of core quality.2.Writing characteristics of the PEP edition materials: attaching importance to the integration of mathematics subject and modern information technology;To solve the problem specification,have a demonstration effect;The content of the selection is rich;The content is rigorous,and the narration is easy to understand.3.The compilation features of Beijing normal university edition: the creation of the situation is rich and the material is close to the students’ life;Integrate into the mathematical culture;Clear learning objectives;Leaving room for the teachers and students to play freely.4.The shortcomings of Beijing normal university edition and the textbook of Human education.Human education: some of the problem assignments can be further adjusted.Beijing normal university edition: the class schedule of the content can be further rationalized;The emphasis on the integration of information technology and discipline can be further strengthened. |
