Basic Research In Setting Traditional Martial Arts (dai’s Xinyi Boxing) Course In Qi County’s Middle Schools

Martial arts is Chinese precious cultural heritage and its essence istraditional martial arts which has a profound cultural background and a solidfoundation.The traditional martial arts has a good effect on physicaleducation,which is the consensus of professionals and accepted by teachers andstudents.So it’s valued highly by ministries of education and got promoted in theteaching system.Dai’s Xinyi boxing is a typical traditional martial arts of Qicounty and influenced by Shanxi merchants culture. With the development ofour society,its function and social value become more and more obvious,sopeople pay more attention to its inheritance and the use efficiency as one ofeducation resources.However,its development is worrying because of seriousshackles by traditional ideas and its inheritance system.Due to our country payshigh attention to the inheritance of ethnic cultures and schools which are themost important places of fostering talents can carry forward traditional martial arts,Dai’s Xinyi boxing can be spread well.Opening Dai’s Xinyi boxing coursehas many advantages,such as raising the students physical and moral integritylevel, handing down excellent culture and enriching the content of physicaleducation curriculum.So it’s important to carry out basic research of openingDai’s Xinyi boxing course in Qi county’s middle schools.By methods of literature review,expert interview,AHP, questionnaire survey,mathematical statistics, logical analysis and case analysis,the paper deeplyanalyses the basic conditions of opening Dai’s Xinyi boxing course in Qicounty’s middle schools and the weighted values of its influencial facts，whichcould be used as a reference to Dai’s Xinyi boxing course’s opening. Throughthe positive research, this thesis gets the following conclusion:（1）Qicounty is the birthplace of ShanxiMerchants culture and has a goodatmosphere for traditional martial arts.Dai’s Xinyi boxing is its representativemartial arts. But only one middle school opens Dai’s Xinyi boxing course andother schools haven’t thought about setting such course.（2）Setting Dai’s Xinyi boxing course has many advantages, such asimproving student’s physique,strengthening students’ constitution, enhancing thefriendship and enriching students’ life after class.Setting this course can train thestudents’ sports conciousnes,strong will and national spirit.And in return,Dai’sXinyi boxing can be promoted and inherited through schools.（3）Through investigation,it’s obviously that school leaders,PE teachersand experts have paid much attention and offered much support on setting such course.And it has a good teaching effect in Qi county’s vocational middleschool,which has a good influence on other middle schools.（4）It’s right to set Dai’s Xinyiboxing course according to New Criteria forthe Course of Physical Education and Fitness. Besides, it’s safe and convenientto set such course and its the requirement for sports grounds and facilities is low.So it is feasible to set this course in each middle school of Qi county.（5）But there are many influencial facts,of which the most important onesare the lack of highly qualified teachers, education plannings and the attention ofleaders.And setting this course need enough funding, participation enthusiasmand matching textbooks and so on.
