"Compulsory chemistry curriculum standards (2011edition)" pointed out:The chemistry education should inspire the scientific thinking of students in the compulsory education. With the development of chemistry, the thinking mode is formed, that is " macro-micro-symbolic ". In this paper, our research mainly focuses on the "chemical changes of substance" in chemical textbook published by People’ Education Press’ editions textbooks and Shandong Education Press’s editions textbooks, and mainly studied three problems:(1) The distribution and types of "Macro-Micro-Symbolic" thinking in the "chemical changes of substance", which is from the chemical textbooks published by People’ Education Press’s editions textbooks;(2) The distribution and types of "Macro-Micro-Symbolic" thinking in the "chemical changes of substance", which is from Shandong Education Press’s editions textbooks;(3)The comparision of the"Macro-Micro-Symbolic" thinking model about "chemical changesof substance" in the two versions of the junior middle schoolchemistry textbooks.This study is based on the integrity of the "Macro-Micro-Symbol"thinking model, which was divided into three levels. The "Macro-Micro-Symbolic" thinking model was further analyzed in the"chemical changes of substance" content of chemical textbooksof the two presses.By analysis and comparison, we got the conclusions of ourstudy:(1) The selection of the contents in the chemical textbooksof junior middle school are similar with almost identical sequenceorganization, which are published by the two presses;(2) The viewof microscopic and symbolic appear in different sequence inthe two different textbooks, reflecting the different"Macro-Micro-Symbol" thinking model;(3) The different units in thechemical textbooks published by the two presses includedifferent levels of "Macro-Micro-Symbolic" thinking model;(4) In thecontents of the chemical textbooks published by the twopresses, there are similar number of "Macro-Micro-Symbolic"thinking model;(5) There are significant higher integration for the"Macro-Micro-Symbolic" in the People’ Education Press’s editions textbooks compared with Shandong Education Press’seditions textbooks.
