Yu Yingchao’s Plate Teaching Mode And The Study Of Guiding Significance To The Chinese Education Reform

A teacher who named Yu Yingchao worked in Hubei Province created the“Plate teaching Mode”, which has the teaching philosophy of clear thinking,clear objectives, and better operability, and it is also in line with new curriculumstandards advocated. The mode is praised by majority of teachers, it is not onlybecause it takes a new atmosphere for the language teaching, but alsoindicates the direction for the teacher who is in the curriculum reform wave indifficulty. However, the research on Yu Yingchao’s “Plate teaching Mode”emphasis on lesson comments at the present stage, and it is lack of a graspview of the mode for the education reform guidance. So, this research also hasa certain space which is worth exploring.This paper mainly uses literature and case analysis to research YuYingchao’s books and Lessons, so that the author can get an in-depthunderstanding of the “Plate teaching Mode”, and also experience its artisticcharm. Firstly, the paper analyzes the characteristics and advantages of the“Plate teaching Mode”, and sums up the discipline from the teacher’sinstructional design and classroom record. The teaching strategies aredifferent in different style. For example: in prose, it focus on reading andaesthetic experience; in novel, it divided into three parts “understanding of thecontent, figuring out outstanding point, noting the characters”; in poetry, itfocuses on reading and comparison. Secondly, the paper explores itssignificance for today’s Chinese education reform which under the background and it mainly for three aspects: assaulting traditional classroom teaching mode;enhancing teachers’ understanding of their own; paying attention on students’lifelong development. Finally, there is a expand thinking based on thecontradistinction from Yu Yingchao to YuYi, Zhao Qianxiang, WangJun andother teachers: Each teacher has their own style of teaching, the best way theyshould do is to find a suited way to their own teaching between the game ofpassion and plain, emotions and intellect, presets conflict and the generatedpatterns, Model and personality.
