Science inquiry activity is the main activity form of scienceeducation in kindergarten.To implement scientific inquiry activitiescan not only satisfy children’s curiosity,thirst for knowledge,but alsocan cultivate children’s good study quality,making the children towork liking scientists and understand the essence of sciencegradually.This study took six kindergartens in X county,Shanxi Province asthe research object,using the literature research method,observationmethod and Interview method to study science inquiry activities inkindergartens.Through the study,the following problems about theimplementation of scientific inquiry activities in kindergarten werefound:first,On setting and completing activities’ goals,attach greatimportance to the knowledge goal,belittle emotional and abilitygoals,ignore putting goals in accurate position;second,On choosing and completing content, attach great importance to complete theteaching plan,belittle generated content,ignore life content;third,Oncreating science inquiry environment,attach great importance to thephysical environment,belittle the psychological environment,ignorechildren to interact with teachers and environment;forth,In theprocess of exploring, attach great importance to children’s exploringfreely and lack of teachers’ guidance,recording and discussion hasnot been taken into account,ignore to sublimate the results;fifth,Onevaluating inquiry activity,attach great importance to teachers’evaluation,despises children’s mutual evaluation,ignore children’sself-evaluation;attach great summative assessment,belittleformative assessment;lack of specific evaluation to children.The research analyzed deep reasons about implementing scienceinquiry activities from four aspects:preschoolteachers,kindergarten,young children and children’s parents.On thebasis of study, three feasible suggestions were put forward:strengthen internal training in kindergarten to promote preschoolteachers’ scientific literacy;optimize the internal managementmechanism to promote teachers’ independent development;strengthen the cooperation between families and kindergartens touse curriculum resources.
