Social work, a major which have a strong value, its value and ethic are the sole of social work. With the rapid development of social work in China in recent years, professional theory and practice of social work have got into a new and fast period, at the same time, the problems of its values and ethics have increasingly drawn the attention of academic circle.This thesis is based on the practice of the metal health social worker in X clubhouse, then the writer use the case study method to learn that the social workers’Ethical Dilemmas, which mainly caused by the conflict of client and agency’s interest, as well as the conflict of social worker and client’s interest, also the conflict of client and others’interest in mental rehabilitation practice. Then the writer analyses the causes of it. We find that the main causes are following:the cultural differences between China and western countries; succinct generalization of social work values and the conflict of different interest group. Based on these, the author make a detailed analysis of the Ethical Dilemmas through the special case in mental rehabilitation service that social worker meet in case intervention. Furthermore, the writer use the guidance "Person in Situation" to deal with Ethical Dilemmas that happen in mental rehabilitation practice. Then, the writer reflect the ethics practice from’diversity’, limiting client self-determination and setting up a system of local social work that will effectively contribute to the settlement of Ethical Dilemmas.
