In the past ten years,the social work in Shenzhen has continued to grow and the ranks of social workers have grown steadily.Paying attention to the ethical problem encountered by social workers helps social workers to recognize the difficulties encountered in services and find ways to properly solve these problems,it is also conducive to improving the quality of social work services and the enhancement of professional enthusiasm of practitioners,and it is also conducive to the development of the social work profession.At first,this paper makes a comprehensive understanding of ethical problem from the perspective of theoretical arrangement and summarizes the main ethical problems of social work found in existing research.Then,the author designs a survey based on theoretical research,combs and analyzes the ethical problem encountered by social workers in Shenzhen through questionnaires.It has been found that the main ethical problems faced by social workers in Shenzhen are not fully consistent with those of European and American countries,it has the characteristics of localization.Then,the author conducts in-depth interviews with several social workers with relatively rich practical experience and launch a detailed analysis of representative cases,combing case studies,indicates that western social work professional services and local culture still need to run in,professional ethical principles have certain difficulties in practice,the local ethical problems in Shenzhen has historical limitations.Integrate the above findings,this study finds that the ethical problem faced by social workers in Shenzhen are mainly the difficulty in delineating the boundaries of professional relationships,the difficulty in value neutrality,and the difficulty in maintaining confidentiality principles,among them the problem of the boundaries of professional relationships is more common and complex,at the same time,some social workers in Shenzhen also say they cannot stick to their professional values due to the reality.Finally,this paper reflects on the current local ethical guidelines.In view of its weaknesses such as poor operability,lack of adaptability to the times,and low awareness,this paper points out that it is imperative to build and improve the local code of ethics in the context of the new era.Combining realistic research with the content of codes of ethics in the United States,China Taiwan and other places,the author puts forward suggestions such as the associations of social workers in China,provinces,and cities should play a guiding role in convening a seminar on the ethics of local social work;the code of ethics should include professional values and richer specific ethical standards that are compatible with the local culture;compilation of case series on social work ethics as supplementary information to the code of ethics;strengthen the implementation of local social work ethics.And the author hope to provide inspiration and guidance promoting the localization of social work ethics.
