Infant Parental Education Research Of Urban Mobility Families

The stage of infant from0to3years old is the critical period of intellectual development. The brain has the strongest plasticity. Good parenting stimulus has important influence both in physical and psychological aspects. Parental education emphasizes on setting up good upbringing concept, improving parenting skills on the basis of learning, so parents can reflect continuously, learning and growing in the process of interaction with their children.The paper takes parents of urban mobility families as the research object, investigating the basic situation, main problems of their parental education, through the combination of qualitative research and quantitative research. Then the paper analyzes capital factors which affect the formation of main problems.In the end, I will put forward some countermeasures and suggestions, combining with concept, methods of social work.By investigating the basic situation of parents in concept, skill, self-learning and reflection of early education, the paper argues that urban mobility families have some problems in the parental education area. Firstly, parents have a single concept of the early education and their concepts disconnect with the skill. Secondly, parents put more attention in physician and nutrition instead of physician and education, so some infants lose their critical period. Thirdly, the phenomenon is common such as excessive protection of children, beating and scolding. Fourthly, the content of early education is simple and lack of father’s role. Fifthly, the social support is so weak that helplessness always bothers parents. Mobility families have less economic capital, lacking of cultural capital and social capital. All of the defections in the three types of capital lead to the formation of the problem.In order to further improve parental education work of urban mobility families, I think we should take the social capital as a breakthrough, by analyzing the three different forms of capital. We can play the advantages of social work in professional services to build network, improving the ability of using resource of mobility families. So mobility families will increase investment with the extension of social capital and their cultural capital will be improved and reproduced.
