In the early time,the educational place was in the monastery in Diqing. Monks have the right to learning.If children want to study,they must become monk in the monastery.Monastery is the only teaching sites.Modern school education in Diqing region originated in the late Qing Dynasty. The Qing government had implemented the New Deal in the country in case of internal and external. But Diqing region due to the remoteness of education reform are not in accordance with regulations,the establishment of a modern new school. To the Republic of China,the Government of the Republic of China attaches great importance to the nation’s educational frontier. National education during this period there had been some development. With the new education Sino-Japanese War, the outbreak of civil war, Diqing region of short-lived. After the establishment of People’s Republic of China, the modern school Diqing region has been rapid development of education.
