This paper starts with the reason of taking drug and the rehabilitation effect of Tai chi exercises, using oral history method to gather the drug taken experience and the rehabilitation experience by practicing Tai chi exercises from the drug addicts.Combined with the related literature, this study draws the following conclusions:First of all, the Chinese so-called "human society" or "face society" creates the "new drug culture"; and the young people enjoy “mob” and “entertainment” with other common behaviors such as no ways to release their psychological distress, no goals so as to give themselves up and so on; in addition, new drugs with “noble symbol ” mislead many people, who are not only lack of self-control and self-protection awareness, but also ignorant of new drugs, so that they cannot resist the temptation. These factors constitute the three dimensional structure of social interaction, mental habits and physical needs on the drug taking acts.Secondly, without a free drug treatment, the drug addicts feel the“flowing body, free mind”by practicing Tai chi, which is not only as the“medicine”for treating their psychological distress but also as the communication “ cheats ” for the “ toxic friends” changing to the“fist friends”. The period that the drug addicts practice Tai chi exercises is divided into four stages: the first is that the drug addicts can feel the “freedom” and follow their own minds to control their body, with the classroom being a place where they quest for freedom; the second is that the “ sense of freedom”can be led to a“institutional drug treatment life”so as to better the“soul”;the third is that they enhance better physical health and change mental outlook, making themselves“automatic”to focus on their own physical and mental health; the fourth is that practicing Tai chi exercises gives them stronger body, and at the same time, make the isolated life into a blend of life with contribution to the harmonious interpersonal relationship and enhancement of the communication skills. Finally, this paper starts with the reason of taking drug and the rehabilitation effect of Tai chi exercises and employs the real experience of practicing Tai chi exercises from the drug addicts, aiming to put forward some useful suggestions on how to use Tai chi exercises to achieve drug treatment.
