With the development of the new round of primary of middle school education in our country and the development and progress of geography education, the educational ideas also continue to reform. The purpose of education should not only teach students knowledge, teachers should improve the comprehensive quality. The development and progress of high school geography teacher learning community plays an important role in the development of geography education and the whole education.High school geography teacher learning community is the basic organization of teaching activities and academic researches. This is the effective way to improve the high school geography teachers’ professional quality. As a high school geography teacher, how to adapt to the new development of new curriculum reform in the forefront is very important. No doubt, the establishment of teacher learning community is a very good way.In this paper, according to the three Bozhou high schools’ geography teachers’ learning situation and problems in learning geography community, the author use method of questionnaire and interview to survey and analysis, including the high school geography teachers’ participation in the learning community and lack of investigation to find out the existing problems. The author analyzes the five aspects, including High school geography teachers’ great interest in learning, lack of training and cooperation, without professional guidance, inadequate support. Finally, put forward the strategies to solve problems and promote the high school geography teachers’ professional growth. Study on the current situation and problems include the following aspects. For example, high school geography teachers’ basic information, development situation and effect. Based on the above analysis, the author put forward the lead, giving the right to others, Training of teachers’ ability, construction of cooperative culture. The ultimate aim is to improve the effectiveness of education and the quality of education and teaching especially in the new curriculum reform in China today.
