New Perspective Of Selecting Potential Teenager Football Athletes:Neuroticism And Volition

Personality refers to the factors which can trigger people’s behavior and take the initiative to guide people’s behavior, and make the person face different kinds of stimulation, and can make the same psychological structure which reflects the tendency,and also to maintain a relatively consistent behavior at different times and in different circumstances.volition is the psychological phenomenon peculiar to human beings, it is the concentrated expression of people’s subjective initiative, mental health, personality formation and development of people, the cause of the success has extremely important significance.volition refers to the total structure factors of adult will.This study investigated the status quo of personality traits, volition, comprehensive level of adolescent soccer players,social avoidance,life satisfaction,and used the methods of literature study,questionnaire probes to discuss their relations.We are aimed at enriching related research content about adolescent soccer players’ personality,volition,and providing theory and data support for improve the coaches focus on athletes’ personality and the cultivation of the athletes’ volition.From the perspective of psychological factors to provide suggestions and Countermeasures for the cultivation of excellent football players,And the personality and character as a selection of potential excellent football players psychological indicators provide theoretical materials and examples.This research randomly selected adolescent soccer players of Guangzhou Hengda,Beijing Guoan,Shanxi Women’s football players three training base as subjects, Eysenck personality questionnaire,Scale for Athletes’ Volition, and adolescent soccer players’ training level scale as research tools in the investigation.The 237 valid questionnaires were analyzed with statistical methods of descriptive statistics,independent sample t-test, correlation analysis, and variance analysis.The following conclusions were found from this study:First, the adolescent soccer players’ neuroticism had significant differences in different sex,training time,gender and training base.Volition had significant differences in different sex,training time and training base.Special level had significant differences in different sex,training time,gender and training base.Second, adolescent soccer players had significant negative correlation between their neuroticism an d special level.Third, adolescent soccer players’ volition had a significant positive correlation with special level;Fourth,the neuroticism of adolescent soccer players had a negative correlation with their volition.Fifth,volition has an intermediary role between neuroticism and special level of adolescent soccer players.Sixth,High group and low group had significant negative correlation between neuroticism and volition.The high level group is lower than the low level group in neuroticism,The high level group is higher than the low level group in volition.
