Recently, motion sensing technology has enjoyed an increasing concern, as it changes greatly the interactive modes to make people feel more comfortable in operating computers. With the popularity of motion sensing, Leap Motion, the new gesture interactive device, has been applied in daily human-computer interaction. By using Leap Motion, people need only to control their gestures to interact naturally with computer, which greatly boosts the usability of computer.However, Leap Motion has not been available in real environment, especially in the education environment. Leap Motion corporation, though, works to upgrade its released products and puts out interface and plug-in based on multiple operation platforms, so far the successful education games with Leap Motion has not appeared.To solve the above problems, integrating Leap Motion device with Unity3D, the popular game developing software, we have designed and developed an education game with gesture interactive function. In theoretical part of this paper, we mainly analyze education game development and its function in education circle, illustrate the design mode and ideology of developing education game and briefly introduce some related software. In operating part, we mainly focus on introducing the design and development of education framework on Unity 3D, discussing various implement modes of game and introducing methods of realizing the sensing function in education game. By some related researches and practices, we have developed a novel educational game based on motion sensing. It fully proves the feasibility of using motion sensing device to develop education game which also makes it more interesting and immersing. By this essay we hope to provide a new thinking to education game developers.
