Research On The Ways To Consolidate And Enhance Chinese Contemporary College Students’ National Identity

National identity, as an important national consciousness, is the basis of patriotism. The national identity of Chinese college students, the main force of social development, is affected by globalization and social transformation deeply, which has the trend to be weaken. Therefore, it is very necessary to research how to consolidate and enhance college students’ national identity.On the basis of current situation and existing research results, the problems and reasons of Chinese college students’ national identity are analyzed, and the effective ways to consolidate and enhance college students’ national identity in new times are proposed. The thesis mainly has four parts.In the first part, the background, purpose, significance, research status, research ideas and innovations of the research are studied.In the second part, the connotation of identity and national identity, the nature and function are mainly elaborated.In the third part, the current situation of college students’ national identity is generalized, especially its problems, and the reasons of these problems are analyzed carefully and deeply.In the last but best part, the effective ways of consolidating and enhancing college students’ national identity are proposed from economy, politics, culture and education, which has great influence on increasing college students’ national identity.
