College Students’ Professional Ethics Education Research In University Of Electronic Science And Technology Of China

At the age of knowledge economy, there has more need of those persons who has both high professional skills and high professional ethics. College students are undoubtedly the reserve resources of talent in the future. In addition to the technical education, professional ethics will directly determine one’s success in career and the actual effect of the socialist modernization construction of our country. Therefore, professional ethic education in colleges and universities should arouse our attention.Since the economic reform, the economic development of China is undoubtedly fast, but ethic problems at the same time cannot be ignored. The academic plagiarism, the cheat on labour and materials, the hacker problems, all these problems warning people: professional ethics declined. But there are also lots of people do not have a clear understand of professional ethics, the lack of professional ethic evaluation system made people lack of humanistic view and social care. Most of the technical staffs accept only technical training, professional ethic education has been despised.Our university has formed a reasonable and complete training system of professional skills, so the emphasis on professional ethic education will determine the future development of our students. This paper investigated the ethical performance of the graduates, therefore to deduce the deficiencies exist in our current professional ethic education, and put forward the author’s suggestions to promote our professional ethic education.In order to learn the current status of professional ethics of our students, the author compiled a questionnaire to investigate about 400 graduates of our university. The content of the questionnaire are individual assessment on the professional ethics level,attitude towards professional ethics and ways to get knowledge of professional ethics. From the questionnaire, the author obtained useful information and effective measures to enhance our professional ethics educationThe article is divided into 4 stages:Firstly, the author introduced the ethical theory and the concept of professional ethic education, and the necessarily of university professional ethic education has been analyzed.Secondly, make a comprehensive description of the ethic performance of our graduates by this investigation, by deeply analysis of their performance, the author gave effective measures to enhance our professional ethics education.Thirdly, from the performance of our graduates, the author analysis the reason deeply existed in our professional ethic education.Fourthly, based on the first three parts of the article, the author provided effective measures to improve our professional ethic education.
