The geographical experiment teaching is a kind of teaching method and teaching means which can stimulate students’ interest in learning geography. At the same time, it is a kind of teaching practical activity which can cultivate the students’innovative ability and practical ability. Under the background of new curriculum reform, geography education in high school pays attention to cultivating the students’ skills and ability. To same extent, the geographical experiment teaching changes the teachers’teaching behavior and students’learning method. The geographical experiment teaching is not only conclusive to the geography teachers’ professional quality, also help to cultivate the students’innovative practical ability and the ability of scientifical experiment.The paper researches on the experimental teaching application about the senior high school geography class by the documentary method, the method of interview survey, the case analyzes method, the summary of experience method. Based on the analysis of the experimental teaching design principle and the teaching mode in the geography class, it gives some illustrations of the application of lead-in, the establishment of scenario, breakthrough of key and difficult points, and the summary. It aims at providing some useful reference for the experimental teaching in the geography class.
