A Study On The Effectiveness Of Safety Education In High School

As fatal blow to the family, safety accidents happen between students frequently and continuously, which influence both the development of students and the stability and harmony of the society. It is of great significance to study how to improve the effectiveness of safety education in high schools. Taking A district of A city as an example, in this essay the writer studied the ‘high school safety education’situation.Generally, schools, the society, families and individuals pay more attention to the safety education. But actually the problems of effectiveness deficiencies on safety education still exist.There are some examples as followed. The high school students are willing to pursue the safety in their lives, but their conception understanding sometimes is ‘fuzzy’, ‘general’, and ‘narrow’. More and more time and energy has been invested by schools, but not so much ideal effect has been achieved. On the safety education, schools do not well unite with the families, the community and the society. And on the specific work of safety education, there still exist the problems like‘doctrine’and ‘not individual’etc.The study found that there exist problems causing the insufficient validity for the high school safety education, such as ‘insufficient investment of the state, schools, families and students’,‘insufficient attention’, ‘poor safety consciousness of students’, ‘lack of safety knowledge’ and‘poor capabilities dealing with the safety problems’. In view of the problems, the essay analyzed the subjective and objective factors related to effectiveness of the high school safety education and put forward the corresponding countermeasure. Through exploring high school safety education,the author initially formed a kind of theory and practice system about the high school safety education effectiveness.
