Since the establishment of the new China, basic education curriculum reform achieves great development, making the ordinary high school in our country implementation of elective courses gradually into the diversified development stage. Provincial, municipal around the city of ordinary high school elective subject relationship between the implementation of more complex, in view of this, this paper takes the ordinary high school practice elective system as the research subject.This paper takes six ordinary high school in Ningbo City, the three types of samples, with students and teachers as the object, using a questionnaire assessment method, in order to approbate degree as index, discusses the problems of status of elective system and existing implementing middle school. To implement and improve the system of elective courses to further, from teachers, schools and government three aspects form the joint effort, to promote the healthy development of elective system is to promote the student individuality development. The full text is divided into 5 parts.The first part expounds the origin of the study, purpose and significance, research status at home and abroad, and introduces the ideas and methods of this study, the definition of the core concepts related to deployment. The second part discusses the theoretical basis of the implementation of the elective course of ordinary high school, through the two basic theories of the implementation of the elective course: in-depth analysis of educational choice theory and course choice theory, explaining why to open elective courses in high school, to find theoretical support for the. The third part from the ordinary high school elective courses structure analysis, ordinary high school elective elective course structure of curriculum structure and the past course structure, longitudinal comparison of Zhejiang province and other provinces of the horizontal comparison of the new curriculum reform. The fourth part, taking Ningbo city as an example, from the four aspects of elective curriculum, infrastructure construction, course mode and development process management, practice elective curriculum implementation survey of high school. The fifth part to recognition as a measure of the effect of implementation of elective courses, through the preparation and mathematical analysis of the questionnaire obtained the general high school elective course achievements and existing problems. The sixth part in view of the existing problems, some suggestions and countermeasures are given. This paper thinks: Zhejiang Province, the implementation of the elective system three years, obtained remarkable result, generally recognized for students and teachers groups; the main problems, is the students believe that the poor effect of elective courses, schools and teachers think that the elective course teaching condition is not perfect, the implementation of the elective system, the larger external resistance; characteristics class and class implementation of the elective system of school financing is difficult; the adaptability of the elective course in middle and old aged teachers will be lower.
