In the new round of basic education curriculum reform, the implementation of elective courses is one of the outstanding issues. With the proposal of elective modules choice was proposed by the ministry of education, the education administrative departments have also introduced the "elective courses guidance" for high school elective module presents guidance on learning. In practice, How to open elective modules of a high school chemistry courses? What factors affect its courses setting? In this paper, questionnaires, interviews and text were used to study the chemistry elective courses of our high school, comprehensively realized the open situation of chemistry elective courses, and found the influence factors of chemistry elective modules, then provided references for chemistry of elective modules and provided the practical basis of the module curriculum design. The study is divided into the following sections:The first chapter:Introduction. This section mainly include:research background, the issues raised, definition, theoretical basis, purpose and significance of the research, ideas and methods and contents.The second chapter:The country gives suggestions on the opening of the high school chemistry elective modules. This chapter offered quantity and variety, the time and order of opening for the chemical elective modules, through "general chemistry curriculum standards (experimental)".The third chapter:The provinces provide advices on how to choose the elective modules to learn. This chapter mainly analyzes and researches27provinces opened high school chemistry elective modules through content analysis, text analysis, online surveys and comparative research, then, identifies the elective modes and each mode situation of the current high school chemistry elective courses, in order to promote the new high school chemistry curriculum, promote the smooth conduct of the new high school teaching.The fourth chapter:The actual situation of chemistry elective modules in the high school and the influencing factors of creation. This chapter mainly uses questionnaires and interviews. The first part checks into current situation of the elective courses in Chongqing, among chemical teachers in the high school and instructors, and analyzes the data to understand general situation of our high school chemistry elective courses; The second part analyzes its influencing factors through surveys and interviews.The fifth chapter:The conclusions and recommendations. It was found by the investigation and studying that schools determine the elective modules of opening, students rarely have the right to choose;"Experimental Chemistry" module has a low rate; The university entrance exam scheme and exam outline are the most important factor that influence of opening chemistry elective courses. I raised these recommendations to improve college entrance examination system, the reform of college entrance examination pattern; perfect course management system, establish a reasonable evaluation system; strengthen teacher training to improve the quality of teacher; establishment and improvement of the elective system, providing course guidance; evaluating "Experimental Chemistry"module should flexible and diversified.
