With the quality of education is gradually taking root role in people’s mind, art education has undoubtedly become the most important part of it in nowadays. Art education for children, which has been attached importance among parents, intends to facilitate the cultivation and improvement of children’s imagination, creativity, and ability of thought and practice. This thesis adheres to the principle of theory combines with practice, through author ’s personal experiences as a practice teacher in school and art training authority, presents a comparison between the current situations of children art education in and out of campus, with the help of author ’s major knowledge in this certain field.This thesis mainly focuses on the following aspects. Firstly, in the introduction, the author gives a brief account of the background, purpose and meaning of the research. The author also gives a detailed analysis to the researches of predecessors, showing the methodology, frame and innovation of the research through literature review. Secondly, the author compares the current situation of children art education in and out of campus, mainly points out the distinctive differences with the concern of influences, tasks, resources of students, audiences, teaching methods and teaching atmosphere. Thirdly, the author proceeds to contrasting the curriculum design of children art training in and out of campus. Lastly, through combining the advantages of both in and out of campus art education, the author puts forwards some feasible project designs on it.In terms of how to offer children a better art training opportunity and how to improve the trainers’ teaching ability, the author ’s discussion swifts from in campus to out of campus art education, finally presents some feasible solutions from a practical perspective, covering the deficits of current art education, and serving as an excellent model to the art training teaching activities.
