Overseas Chinese learners are getting younger and younger,but there are relatively few researches on Chinese teaching for children.Therefore,based on the Chinese teaching practice in Maldives and my own study experience,the author aims to provide a Chinese teaching curriculum design for overseas first-line Chinese teachers for their reference.This design is not only conducive to enriching the theoretical research on teaching Chinese as a foreign language for children,but also conducive to shortening the early exploration time of novice teachers when they first arrive overseas and helping them to start teaching more quickly.In this paper,the curriculum design theory and Multiple Intelligence Theory are systematically collected and sorted out mainly through the method of literature research.Then,the application of Multiple Intelligence Theory in Chinese teaching is studied and designed for overseas children(6-12 years old but excluding Chinese children)from the aspects of curriculum objective design,content selection,curriculum implementation and evaluation.On the one hand,it can enrich classroom teaching and enhance interest;on the other hand,it can also promote the development of children's multiple potentials and promote the healthy development of children's body and mind.In addition,the article also points out the inspiration of the theory of multiple intelligences to Chinese teachers,textbooks and teaching methods in the future,and appeals to the relevant people to work together to continue to further apply the theory of multiple intelligences to Chinese curriculum,so that Chinese can better go to the world.
