The teaching of geometry plays an important role in the maths teaching in junior schools.In traditional method of teaching, it is quite difficult to break down the difficulties.In order to optimize the effect of students’ learning,the teaching difficulties can be easily breakthrough with the aid of proper use of CAI.CAMI is no longer a new issue to talk about, but it is rather cared by the educators since the requirement of the new curriculum standards indicate that it is an important assistant. Moreover, it is also quite focused by the teachers and educators that how to make the effect maximized in classrooms with the application of CAMI.In the thesis, the author mainly applied the research methods of literature review, questionnaire survey, interviews, and the observation of the classrooms.At the very beginning of the thesis, the author sums up the merits and demerits of CAI teaching, and present the current teaching situation of junior geometry teaching. Secondly,the author raises up the CAMI theory.Thirdly,the author has made questionnaire survey, interviewings, observation of the classrooms for the junior maths teachers, and made a result analysis. Fourthly, the author offers the common method of junior geometry teaching of CAMI. Finally, the author lists some teaching samples which are fitable with CAMI, according to the features of junior geometry.
