With the development of society and the progress of humanity, early reading as an effective way of education has been paid more and more attention by everyone. As the first teacher of early reading-parents, how to participate in early reading, how to guide children corrective, effective and active reading, and how to cultivate children’s reading interest and ability are important parts of early reading. This study mainly uses literature, questionnaire, interview and other methods to investigate and analysis more than two hundreds parents in Yuanyan District, Guizhou, about their participation in early reading ’ s cognitive attitude,extent of participation,influencing factors, methods and strategies. Accordingly, to explore the difficulties faced by parents who was participated in early reading and how to improve parents’ ability of participating in early reading.This study is consist of four parts:The first part is preface, which outlines the background and significance of this study,the research status of home and abroad, the content and ideas of research.The second part expounds the related theory of early reading and the theoretical basis of parents in early reading.In order to recognize the importance of improve parents’ ability of participating in early reading.The third part is to investigate and research more than two hundreds parents in Kindergarten Yunyan District,Guizhou,about their participation in early reading’s cognitive attitude,extent of participation, influencing factors, methods and strategies as the basis and direction of this article to explore improving parents ’ ability of participating in early reading.The forth part is through the investigation and analysis to find the difficulties which exist in parents’ participatingin early reading.The fifth part is explore the effective approach of parents’ participating in early reading. In order to improve parents’ ability of participating in early study and cultivate the interest and ability of children reading.
