Parents are the main responsible person for early intervention choice of autistic children, and they have certain needs in the early intervention process. In order to provide better early intervention services for autistic children,it is necessary to understand the history and current situation of parents' early intervention choice, study the specific process of parents' early intervention choice, analyze the factors affecting parents' choice, explore the logic of parents' choice behavior, and analyze the needs of parents in the process of early intervention selection. In this study, parents of 0-8-year-old autistic children were taken as the research object. The methods of quantitative questionnaire and qualitative interview were used to analyze the parents' choice and existing needs for early intervention of children. This study was divided into three parts. In the first study,154 parents of autistic children were investigated by using the self-designed questionnaire Early intervention choice questionnaire for parents of autistic children. In Study 2,12 parents of autistic children were interviewed to analyze the specific process of parents' early intervention and the factors influencing parents' choice, and to explore the characteristics of parents' choice behavior according to Theory of Bounded Rationality Choice. In the third study, according to the general process of the questionnaire preparation, through literature analysis, parent interview, expert evaluation and prediction test, questionnaire on the needs of parents of autistic children in early intervention was constructed.154 parents were investigated to analyze the needs and influencing factors of parents of autistic children in the early intervention process. In the specific research process,Early intervention choice questionnaire for parents of autistic children and questionnaire on the needs of parents of autistic children in early intervention were distributed at the same time.Through the above research,we found that:(1)From the history and current situation of early intervention choice, parents were the main decision makers of early intervention for autistic children. Most autistic children were diagnosed before the age of 4,and begin to receive early intervention before the age of 4.The early intervention chosen by parents was mainly in institutions, with high use rate of behaviorism and weak ability of family to bear the cost of intervention.(2)In the process of early intervention, parents experienced the changes of desperation and helplessness, anxiety and blindness, prudence and calmness.Information sources from books or Internet resources, doctors, other parents, family and friends were collected, among which the highest mention rate of books or Internet resources, followed by doctors' recommendations. The parents of autistic children received support from the government, others and their families in the early intervention choice, among which family support was the main one.In the process of early intervention selection, there were many difficulties, such as less intervention institutions, high intervention cost, lack of external support from outside the family, and psychological fatigue.(3)Parents' early intervention choices were influenced by information resources, parents, institutions and children.(4)Under the influence of fuzzy cognition, incomplete information, uncertain expectation and complex environment, parents' early intervention choice showed the characteristics of bounded rationality and followed the principle of satisfaction.(5)The needs of parents of autistic children in early intervention can be divided into information and resource needs, place and personnel needs and children's intervention effect needs, parents' needs are higher. There were significant differences in the needs of parents of autistic children for information and resources, children's intervention effect and overall needs in different family economic levels. There were also significant differences in children's age in parents' needs for intervention places and personnel, children's needs for intervention effects and overall needs.Based on the above research results, different suggestions were put forward from the perspective of information resources, intervention system and social support.
