The development of science and technology, shows the trend of a highly differen tiated and integrated development.With the breakthrough of the growth of new discipl ines, often resulting in different disciplines or fusion. New discipline growing points a nd the breakthrough of some researches often arise from different disciplines or fusion of some subjects.Therefore, the cultivation of high level talents with compound know ledge structure is an important premise to promote new disciplinary growing and to in novative researches.In this situation, to cultivate interdisciplinary research backgroun d of the students will become an important content of education reform of graduate st udents in Colleges and universities. Interdisciplinary graduate students with multi scie nce knowledge background, will become the most innovative research group.At prese nt, the cultivating mode of Chinese university interdisciplinary postgraduates has not yet formed, and most of the schools still follow the traditional graduate cultivating mo del of postgraduates.Therefore, this study chose "interdisciplinary" as a starting point to explore interdisciplinary study mode of postgraduates.This paper took constructivism theory as the guide, the postgraduate training mode as the research object,the construction of graduate cultivating mode of cross specialty graduates as the research target and full-time graduates of education major of H university as the investigation object.Following the characteristic of Education Science and using the methods of literature analysis, interview and comparative analysis,this paper made a systematic investigation and study of the implementation of the graduate students’ training plan and mode,analyzed the cross specialty graduates with the professional graduates’ different reactions on the comparison of the two, tried to find out the problems and contradictions between traditional graduate training mode and cross specialty graduate training mode.Through the analysis of the reasons of the problems,this paper put forward the key to solve the problem is to improve the training mode of cross specialty graduate students.Paper is divided into five parts launches the elaboration. It also preliminarily built a training mode for cross specialty graduate students.This paper can be divided into five parts.The first part is introduction. It affirms the basic problems of this paper from research background,significance,content, methods,present status etc.The second part is the concept definition and theoretical basis.It clarified the definition of "cross specialty", "cross specialty graduate students", "training mode" and "the graduate cultivating mode".The constituent elements of the graduate training mode to determined the division of the basic dimensions.This paper introduced the basic theory of constructivism, including constructivism learning view, student view, eaching view, knowledge view and other important theories and clarified the internal relationship between constructivism theory and the research.The third part is the current situation investigation.It did a comprehensive analysis through text analysis and comparative analysis to three universities’ graduate students’ training modes;investigated students of education major in H university through questionnaires and interviews. The investigation contents mainly included many aspects of training targets, credits and class hours, length of schooling, curricula, teaching activities, mentoring, evaluation etc.Trying to know more about graduate students’ training mode, it combined the static training modes with dynamic present of interdisciplinary postgraduate students.The fourth part is the analysis of questions and reasons.The problems were mainly focused on four dimensions of the questionnaire which were training objectives, process,system and evaluation discussion.Analyzing the problems from the pattern positioning, postgraduate cultivation management thought, implementation and other aspects.The fifth part was the building of training model of cross specialty graduate students.It was to clarify the internal relations between the building of the training mode of research and cross specialty theory; put forward the guiding ideology of building training mode of cross specialty graduate students on the basis of the constructivism and put forward a step in building a model cross specialty graduate students cultivation aiming at the existent problems.
