By using the methods of documentation,experiment,mathematical statistics and logical analysis,combining the characteristics of Cross Fit training approach,sprint events and the current situation of school track and field teaching,this paper introduces Cross Fit training approach into physical fitness training of sprint students majoring in physical education,and explores Cross Fit training by observing the changes of basic physical fitness and some specific physical fitness indexes of students before and after the experiment.The influence of training methods on physical fitness of sprint students.Twenty sprint students of grade 2017 in Chengdu Institute of Physical Education were selected as the experimental subjects.They were trained by Cross Fit method for 40 minutes three times a week for 8 weeks.The related indexes of physical fitness before and after the experiment were tested and compared.The results showed that after the experiment,there were significant differences in the results of sprint students' 50 m,standing long jump,standing start 30 m,100m,300 m,back throw solid ball and standing triple jump(P > 0.01),and there was no significant change in the results of 1000 m and sitting forward bend(P > 0.05).The following conclusions are drawn:1.The physical fitness training methods designed according to Cross Fit theory can effectively improve the physical fitness of sprint students and improve their sprint performance.2.The characteristics of Cross Fit training approach designed include: suitable for teaching,taking full account of students' situation and good acceptance.Based on the analysis of the experimental results and the relevant conclusions,the following suggestions are put forward:1.Cross Fit training can be used for reference in the physical training of short span,jump and throw.Cross Fit training is suitable for small groups to do physical exercises in the form of competition or encouragement.It can also be applied to group sports such as gymnastics and ball games.2.We can use the characteristics of Cross Fit training approach,i.e.operability and applicability.Students or different groups of people can conduct cross Fit training approach independently in their spare time or leisure time according to the existing venues and equipment.
