Study On The Concept Of Happiness Of Contemporary College Students

The contemporary college students’ happiness view exists many problems, mainly displays in: too much emphasis on the pursuit of personal happiness; too much emphasis on the realization of personal value; too much emphasis on the pursuit of material; emphasis on the enjoyment of the senses and ignore the rational level of spiritual pursuit of happiness; labor create value and acceptance is not high, that labor is a kind of forced act or choice; the importance of individual rights while ignoring the duty and responsibility to society and so on. The cause of this concept mainly lies in: the first, the influence of Western values; the second, some social injustice or corruption; the third, the lack of school education of happiness; the fourth, the absence of family education; the fifth, college students have their own problems. In order to clarify the concept of happiness from the theory, we have investigated the western philosophers, Bentham, Kant and Platon, Mill, Aristotle, Macintyre, Marx and other theories related to happiness, to put forward a reasonable view of happiness should be the unity of individual pursuit of material life and spiritual life of the pursuit of the unity of individual and society; value pursuit of value pursuit; hold virtue and the pursuit of happiness of the unity of the perceptual; unified rational pursuit and emotional pursuit; the obligation and responsibility to individual rights and social unity; and emphasizes the feelings of happiness in the work to create, to realize self value and social value. Based on this, we think, in order to solve the problems of university students’ happiness view exists, need to proceed from the following aspects: the relationship between the college students a correct understanding of virtue and happiness; second correct cognition of material enjoyment and spiritual pursuit of the agreement; third of correctly understanding and handling the relationship between the individual value and social value realization; fourth emphasizes the perceptual and rational pursuit of statute of the unified education; fifth is the correct understanding of individual rights is based on the obligations and responsibilities of the society; Sixth let the students realize the labor is to create value and fundamental way to obtain happiness, is the precondition to realize personal value and social value. Only in this way, can we truly realize the personal happiness, get social recognition.
