College Students’ Social Responsibility Cultivation Study In Perspective Of Volunteer Service

As the backbone of building socialism with Chinese characteristics, the cultivation of university students’ social responsibility is very important. Voluntary, devotion, friendship, the progress is the core content of volunteerism. In the perspective of the theory of civil society and citizen education, volunteer service activity can make volunteer experience the different levels of the society, and make social responsibility more clear, and cultivate social citizen consciousness, through the practical action to fulfill social responsibility, spread the positive energy, the spirit of selfless dedication, unity and mutual assistance, etc.The paper has sorted out the current state of the cultivation of college students’ social responsibility, its existing problems and influence and elaborated the important role which the volunteer service activities of college students’ do to foster college students’ social responsibility in our country. By using the civil society theory and citizen education theory, and probing into the cultivation of college students’ social responsibility with the view of volunteer service, the paper takes random sampling and convenient sampling of non random sampling method, chooses three different types of Quanzhou center downtown undergraduate colleges, which is Huaqiao university——belongs to the state council overseas Chinese, Quanzhou normal university——local undergraduate college and Yangen university run by the local undergraduate course colleges, and then through the methods of questionnaire investigation to collect the related information of the impacts of the about college students volunteer service activities between teachers and students do to cultivate college students’ social responsibility. Results show that college students volunteer service can promote to cultivate their sense of social responsibilities, such as clear the social responsibility of college students cognition, improve the social responsibility of college students emotion, discipline, the social responsibility of college students will lead the social responsibility of college students action, but the volunteer service to foster college students’ social responsibility specific influence mechanism is not clear; About perfect volunteer service measures to foster university student’s social responsibility and there are not enough systemic, focus is unknown, and many other problems. On the basis of development experience of volunteer service of Singapore and Taiwan region, the paper puts forward the countermeasures to perfect college students volunteer service activities to foster college students’ social responsibility, mainly including the promoting of the socialization of college students volunteer service to cognitive the social responsibility of college students; Deepening the culture of the college students volunteer service to improve the social responsibility emotion of college students; Internalizing the spirit of the college students volunteer service faith to hone the social responsibility of college students; Normalized the college students volunteer service to lead the social responsibility action of college students.
