Study On The Influences Of Voluntary Service On Social Responsibility Of College Student

UNESCO pointed out that the education of the 21st century should cultivate students' sense of social responsibility and dedication so that they can become aspiring and capable citizens.Social responsibility education has became an indispensable part in American college students' learning process.China's long-term national education reform and development planning(2010-2020)puts forward that it is necessary for us to focus on the improvement of college students' sense of social responsibility in serving the country and people's.The social responsibility taken of college students has been highly valued by all countries.As an important way of social practice,volunteer service plays an important role in helping college students to take social responsibility.In view of the important role of volunteer service,this paper try to use the research topic that is "The influence of volunteer service on the social responsibility taken of college students" and to answer the following questions:Why should colleges attach importance to the social responsibility taken of college students?How does volunteer service affect college students' social responsibility taken and how do they affect them?How do colleges recognize the value of volunteer service?What is the current situation of volunteer service in colleges?What are the problems and how to improve?This paper studies all the problems through three research methods:literature,questionnaire and interview.The research shows that:The social responsibility taken of college students plays an active role in college student themselves and society.As an important place for personnel training,the talent training system of colleges should include the social responsibility taken of college students;Volunteer service has positive influence on college students' social responsibility cognition,social responsibility emotion,social responsibility ability and social responsibility behavior;Volunteer service activities,volunteer service groups,outstanding volunteer model deeds are the three main ways that affects college students' social responsibility taken.The study found that:Although the volunteer service has a positive impact on the social responsibility taken,colleges still exist three problems:The first is that volunteer service project positioning is not accurate,the second problem is the flaw in voluntary service organization and the last problem is that the volunteer service culture is not taken seriously.Based on the above conclusions and findings,this paper puts forward the following suggestions:Based on the importance of social responsibility taken and the positive impact of volunteer service,the government should make the relevant laws and policies of volunteer service;Colleges should incorporate volunteer service into the personnel training system,improve the operation of volunteer service organizations,enrich the contents of volunteer service activities and enhance the volunteer service projects so as to promote the healthy and stable development of volunteer service.
