Mathematics curriculum reform is in full swing in the country, coordinate system and the parameter equation into the focus of some teachers, on the one hand,the tension of teaching hours and the large burden of studying, on the other hand,because of its abstract content so that students do not easy to master. However,the existing researches mostly research on students’ cognitive level about the teaching content analysis, problem-solving strategies, college entrance examination inquiry, but for students learning analyzes why cognitive errors occur in the coordinate system and the parameter equation were very seldom, not mention to the teaching strategies and programs.In view of the above situation, this study analyzes errors in the coordinate system and the parameter equation learning and develops the corresponding teaching strategies.This research mainly adopts qualitative analysis to analyze the students’ cognition level from the cognitive questionnaire and parametric equation of knowledge test.The study confirmed the following types of cognitive errors in the coordinate system and the parameter equation learning: the concept and formula is difficult to understand; three equations transformation is not in place; lack of variable range analysis; on the equation of the comprehensive application ability is not strong.According to the students’ cognition errors in the study, this study adopts the following teaching countermeasures to correct them: designed the teaching case carefully and promoted the student to the concept and formula of cognitive learning; to strengthen the transformation of students understanding the substance of equation; cultivating students’ ability of thinking; strengthen the comprehensive skills and application knowledge training; training the ability of reflection.Believe that this research to further enhance the high school students of the coordinate system and the parameter equation of learning ability has a positive and practical significance.
