In 2010, Premier Wen Jiabao has three times mentioned the word "dignity". It’s the third times that the prime minister discuss opposition to “dignity” in the government work report, he said: "everything we do is to make people’s lives more happier, more dignified, let the society more just, more harmonious." "Dignity" was first written into our government work report, fully demonstrated the Chinese government attaches great importance to people’s "dignity", which aroused the research upsurge. The development of human dignity and attention to human dignity, uphold human dignity, promote human dignity as the basic gist. Research on the education of University Students’ dignity concept, is beneficial to guide students to train their consciousness of dignity, respect for themselves and respect for others, further strengthen and improve the ideological and political education of University students. This paper will take the literature analysis, historical analysis, comparative analysis on the research of the education of University Students’ dignity concept.The paper includes five parts.The first chapter is introduction, aims to clear the theoretical positioning of university students’ dignity concept education, through analyzing the present situation of the domestic and international exposition of dignity, Points out the shortages of domestic and international situation, so as to lay the foundation for the study of the below.The second chapter is overview of university students’ dignity concept education, expounded characteristics of dignity and the basic of history of dignity, to formulate the connotation of university students’ dignity concept education.The third chapte is the relationship between ideological and political education and university students’ dignity concept education. Clarified the dialectic relations between them, and to strengthen the guidance of University students’ dignity concept education from the view of university ideological and political, play its complementary role with the ideological and Political Education in university.The fourth chapter is the reflection and consideration of the problem in the education of university students’ dignity concept. This chapter clarifies the characteristics of university students’ view of dignity, the performance and reasons of the lack of dignity of the university students, and to analyze the performance of the education of the dignity of the university students.The fifth chapter is the realization path for education of university students’ dignity concept in view of Ideological and Political Education. This chapter respectively elaborated the content, principles and implementation path in the education of university student dignity concept.In conclusion, sort out and summarize the related content for the education of university students’ dignity concept, do further research on the content, principle and path for the education of university students’ dignity concept, enrich the connotation of the ideological and political education, is of great significance to guide university students to establish the correct concept of dignity.
